MEET AARON Winklmeier

HEAD COACH

My fitness journey began at the end of junior high/middle school. I initially got into the gym because of my grandfather. The man was insanely fit for his 70s and in his basement had a pullup bar. He challenged me to a contest where I was completely destroyed at 14 years old, him being 72 at the time. That night I went to my father and asked him to show me on to train so I could be like my idol, my grandfather Albert Winklmeier. I was already in martial arts, hockey, baseball, soccer and doing many other activities out of school but those slowly faded out being overtaken by my new found passion in the gym.

Fast forward I was spending every break I had in highschool training. Before school, during a break, after school, I was there at the gym learning and studying up in my free time. Now knowing that was way too much training! But hey, it was fun. I came across my first inspiration Calum Von Moger and told myself, I want to be a bodybuilder and test where I can push myself, a lifelong challenge. I spent many years by myself, training, dieting, learning until after high school where I worked with IFBB pro Cody Drobot as my first coach to teach me where I was going wrong and what I could improve on. During this time, I started to find a bigger passion not just for bodybuilding but for coaching as well. Now, I am hooked on learning and becoming far more improved.

At the age of 22, I started working with Cody’s friend Justin Huyghe for my first competition. This was a new challenge for me as this was my first competition and had never dieted so hard before. In the end, it was worth it grabbing the Junior Bodybuilding Overall Winner Title and creating everlasting relationships where I can call my coaches older brothers. This just fueled my passion further and I asked Justin if we could focus on educating me further so that one day I could help people the way he and Cody have done. At the time, I had been working as a manager for a supplement store. I absolutely loved my job but I wanted to take things to the next step.

I spent the next 2 years studying hard to start my own coaching journey and become part of the Physique Crafters team loving every single moment of it. The stories and memories from working with every client I have worked with and to this day mean the world to me as to what a healthy and fit life can bring an individual. Today, I continue to strive to be the best coach for my clients and athletes while I myself strive to achieve my IFBB pro status so that we can all win together as a team.

Coaching Philosophy

I have a simple philosophy when it comes to coaching. To have a fulfilled life you need the 3 pillars. Happiness, Wealth and Health. When you become healthy, you become stronger, more confident and more determined to achieve more in life. With the right guidance, anyone can find the lifestyle balance of health to become physically and mentally improved to take on any challenge life has to offer so we can make the most of the years we have been given on this Earth. Nutrition, Exercise and mindset are an essential part of life that we all need to understand for ourselves to have the most complete and successful experience of life possible. And that is what I inspire to teach and show so that anyone can drastically change their health forever.

Who I Work Best With

In my fitness journey thus far, I have had the privilege of working with many extraordinary individuals who are determined and resilient. My ideal fitness clients are those who have an intense desire to fulfil their long awaited fitness goals, a passion to level up and who can easily communicate on finding the best path forward for them to become healthier and stronger. This formula is how we will take off on an incredible transformative journey towards a lifestyle balance that works for the individual so that it can be incorporated for the long run for everlasting results and change. My mission is not just to help in sculpting ones desired physique, but to mentor and educate on sustainable habits so that their life will change permanently for the better.
